It’s a new beginning at Curry College as Jay Gonzalez started his first day as the college president on July 31st. In a video released to the Curry community, Gonzalez said he was excited to begin this chapter in the college’s history.

He said he was eager to meet students, faculty and staff in the weeks and months ahead, and said it will require everyone’s input to move the college forward.

He expressed excitement at the various majors and careers students can study at the college and recalled his own college journey where he was the first generation of his father’s family to receive a college degree.
