About 40 students attended a free on-campus concert Friday night, Nov. 8, that featured the indie band Nick Santino and The Northern Wind.

Junior Kevin Coleman opened the show, hosted by Curry’s student radio station WMLN 91.5. A number of audience members got teary and emotional during Coleman’s set of soft tunes. Before he exited the stage, the audience cheered loudly and begged him to play one more song. Coleman dutifully obliged.

Nick Santino and The Northern Wind featured their soft/indie/alternative music. His partners included singer Caitlin Harnett and Joey Pantaleo, who played a lap steel guitar and sang as well.
