Curry Rugby Coach Has Died; Celebration of Life Scheduled for October 21st

Curry’s rugby team is mourning the loss of coach Bill Good, who passed away on September 21st. According to an obituary published on Legacy.com, the 74-year-old passed away with his wife of 39 years by his side.

Student Affairs vice-president, Eric Muurisepp, shared the news with the Curry community, stating in an email message that Bill shared his passion for rugby with so many students.

“His love for Rugby runs deep throughout the entire state of Massachusetts as he was the founder of the Massachusetts Youth Rugby Organization (MYRO),” the statement said. “We share our condolences with Bill’s family, his Rugby friends and all of our students and alumni who had the privilege of knowing and playing with Bill.”

Those wishing to pay their respects can do so at a celebration of life at the original JJ Foleys (117 E Berkeley St, Boston) on October 21st from 4 PM to 8 PM.

The college stated it will share plans to remember Bill with an on-campus event soon.
