UPDATE: Curry Men’s Soccer season came to an end in the playoffs as they lost to Roger Williams University on October 31st, with a final score of 3-2. Read the full recap here from Curry Athletics.
The Curry College Men’s Soccer had one of the best starts we as Curry fans have seen. The team started 6-1-3, but that is not the case anymore due to the five-game losing streak. Homecoming weekend brought some light when they won by a score of 7-2. At the time of this publication their record is 8-6-3 and they are playoff bound.
This Homecoming win happened on none other than Senior Night for a Men’s Soccer Team that has twelve seniors this year.
These seniors have been through it all from playing during the pandemic to now: a playoff team.

Senior, Owen Bynum, a Public Relations Major, was thrilled with the victory at Homecoming.
“Senior night couldn’t have gone any better,” said Bynum. “A massive win like that at home after a rough two weeks was well deserved and needed for the team.”
This group of seniors have known each other since the beginning of their college career and have been through it all together. The win this past Friday was very memorable, said fellow senior, Connor McCann, a Communication major..
“This past senior night was emotional for all of us, as I see every senior a brother of mine,” said McCann. “To put on a performance as special as that really encapsulates us as a group.”
This performance was by far the best and most dominant game from the team this season. Their first playoff game is scheduled for Saturday, October 28th at 3:00 p.m. at Gordon College.
Make sure you show our seniors some love and root them on throughout their playoff run!
