Looking to get discounted tickets for sporting events, concerts, or plays? Go online, of course.
SeatGeek is a great app that can be downloaded to both Android-powered phones and iPhones. All you have to do is add the desired dates and times of your desired entertainment, and SeatGeek will connect you to upcoming events. It evens saves your histories for future use.
Sure, there is always Ticketmaster and ACE Ticket to purchase tickets to area events, and occasionally they are discounted. But what makes SeatGeek so accessible is that you can easily check your phone daily to see if ticket prices have gone down.
If you are looking to go outside of the Boston area for entertainment, try the Broadway.org (available for Android and iPhone). This app is the official site of The Broadway League. If that doesn’t work for you, try the tkts app, which searches for Broadway and off-Broadway shows.
There are usually ways to go see a show without having to pay full price. But with the power of technology, now you can save a little time, too.
