The Old Colony History Museum in Taunton will be transformed into the Old Colony Mystery Museum for a night of puzzles, games, and curious history, and college students throughout the region are invited to attend. The event will be held Thursday, September 8th from 7 to 9:00 p.m. at the museum located at 66 Church Green in Taunton.
The museum houses artifacts and information about a part of the state that, according to the museum, has had human habitation for 10,000 years.
According to the event news release, college students are invited to sign up “for a session to play our custom puzzle game, A River of Puzzling History! You can register as a single player or bring a group! Up to 16 players can compete at a time. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest team to solve their puzzle box!”
“As a reward for all your sleuthing, relax in our beer garden as you sip on a craft beer or mystery mocktail, listen to music, play games, or try your hand at making ice cream with a mysterious twist (if you’re brave enough!),” the release stated.
